The Diet Way of Life

Sometimes diet doesn't mean eating what you don't like, starvation or unnecessary stress for the organism. 


It is confusing to most people what should or should not eat for achieving optimal health. First we have to select what we target - weight loss, muscle building or just maintaining good health results. Going on a diet means difference from your normal way of being into new one. Every change in food, drinks and workouts is stress for the organism. This means that the transition should be subtle, not at once. There are hundreds of different diets and selecting the one the suits your lifestyle the most. For example recently I went on a low carbohydrate diet. This meant that I could eat meat, eggs, high on protein but low on carbs food. It wasn't such a stress for the organism and I could feel the change on my body in a couple of weeks. Another good point for this diet is that once per week I had to charge on carbs, this meant that I could eat anything i wanted - sweets, pasta, beans and all other foods that are rich in carbs. This way I wasn't missing that much.

In conclusion I want to say the the diet should become a way of life, not something that you "have" to do.
